About the event

We are living through great changes, and sometimes you just have to bundle the terror and wonder of it all into festive madness!

The Annual Dancing Monsters Community parade is back, inviting all to express a creative connection to the Port Adelaide/Yerta Bulti River

As a parading Monster, you can mask the human face, and adorn yourself for the parade. Make feral feel festively fabulous!

Musicians and spectators are also encouraged to be part of the event.

Dance with a mask, play an instrument, sing, scream wildly, or just come and witness our only annual Monster parade.

Let the wild rumpus start!

Also:

This year, we'll include a homage to the Moon Jellyfish, as they begin their spawning in the River.

There will be Monster workshops in the weeks leading to event.

Follow the Dancing Monsters Facebook page for updates and more information.

A special thank you to the Suzanne Elliott Charitable Trust for supporting this event
